Print Design

Visually inspired by Elle’s refined aesthetic, the design emphasizes clean typography, strong grid systems, and balanced negative space to create a sophisticated and modern composition.

Key elements of Elle’s editorial style are adapted throughout, including bold cover treatments, minimal yet impactful headlines, and carefully curated imagery. Hierarchy and pacing are thoughtfully structured across spreads to guide the reader’s eye, combining full-bleed visuals with organized text layouts to maintain both elegance and readability.
This project translates a recognizable fashion publication style into a cohesive design execution, demonstrating attention to detail, consistency across pages, and the ability to replicate industry-standard editorial layouts while maintaining a unified visual identity.

DESIGN PROCESS
The objective of this project was to develop a refined editorial design inspired by the visual language of Elle magazine, focusing on creating a cohesive and polished publication. I closely analyzed elements such as grid systems, typography, color palette, image placement, and headline treatments to accurately capture the essence of high-fashion editorial layout. The design process emphasized consistency across spreads, ensuring a strong visual rhythm while maintaining clarity and balance. Careful attention was given to typographic details, including proper justification, spacing, and the elimination of widows and orphans, resulting in clean layouts.
